Purchases and Refunds
Revision 18 · en-US
Before you purchase
Real-money purchases and connected purchase recovery are available only in the self-declared adult profile. Users under 18 or of unknown age use local earned Petals; no real-money checkout, Google account or cloud purchase recovery is available in that profile. The app does not offer verified parental consent or parent-funded child accounts.
Dear Mori offers optional one-time purchases of consumable Petal packs through Google Play. It does not offer a subscription or automatically renew a wish. Google Play displays the real-money price and currency for your location before you authorize payment. Review the account, pack quantity and price; a pending payment is not a completed grant.
Petals are digital app units, not money, a deposit, an investment or a transferable asset. Dear Mori provides no cash-out or user-to-user transfer function. This does not limit any refund required by law or Google Play.
Earned and purchased Petals
Earned Petals and purchased Petals have separate records. For an eligible item, earned Petals are used first and purchased Petals cover the remainder. The review shows the split. Unspent Petals do not have an ordinary expiration timer. Spent or refunded Petals are not credited again on restoration.
Mori and wish uses
A Mori costs 300 Petals and includes permanent ownership. Each owned Mori can carry one active wish at a time free, including starting another after closure. Additional simultaneous wishes on the same Mori use consumable wish uses: 150 Petals for one or 400 Petals for three. Unused uses are Mori-specific and do not expire.
Confirming a wish begins its 30-day period. If the Mori has no unfinished wish, activation is free. Each additional simultaneous wish consumes one use when it starts. Uses are not permanent slots: closure or expiry does not return a consumed use. Once all unfinished wishes on a Mori are closed, another can begin free. Buying uses does not start a wish. The Mori remains owned, and there is no automatic renewal or automatic charge.
Check the purchase review for the current offer before confirming. Changes to future offers do not remove already purchased entitlements or mandatory remedies.
Mori Bond and other digital items
Cosmetics and Mori Bond levels do not require ordinary time-based renewal. A Mori Bond offer requires an active wish and displays the next or remaining Mori Bond requirements and exact Petal price. It grants the reviewed ritual/carry progress, checkpoints and any stated Wish Glow effect.
Buying Mori Bond progress does not record practice you did not perform, grant practice rewards, supply unlimited wish uses, or guarantee that a real-world wish will come true. A quote can expire or change after account, balance or progress changes; review the updated offer before confirming.
Confirmation, interrupted payments and restoration
Confirmed Google Play payments are verified by our commerce service before purchased Petals are granted. Pending payments may complete after you close the app. Duplicate verification of the same transaction does not grant a second pack. An interrupted response does not necessarily mean payment failed; use restoration or contact support before attempting a replacement purchase.
Use Purchases and account in Settings and sign in with the original Dear Mori account to restore purchased balances and entitlements. Google Play consumable purchase history alone is not a complete wallet backup. The account service restores remaining purchased balances and ownership; it does not restore spent Petals as new credit.
The separate local journal, earned Petals and free progress are not recovered through Google sign-in. Journal export/import moves journal records, not currency or ownership. Paid wish activation records can be restored without their original private words.
Refunds and remedies
You may request a refund through the applicable Google Play purchase/order process or contact support@ohmymori.com for assistance. Provide the account and Google Play order reference where needed, never a password or private journal. Timing and eligibility depend on the circumstances, the platform process and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms makes all sales final or excludes remedies for defective, misdescribed or undelivered digital content/services. Any withdrawal right, immediate-supply consent or acknowledgement, and required durable confirmation must be handled according to the applicable transaction and jurisdiction. Digital purchases do not automatically waive withdrawal rights.
A confirmed refund or reversal removes the associated purchased credit. If it has already been spent, the purchased balance may show a deficit that affects new spending until reconciled. This does not authorize duplicate debits or removal of unrelated local journal content. Contact support if the result appears incorrect.
Deletion and service availability
Deleting your account removes cloud wallet and collection data and can prevent subsequent restoration of those entitlements. It is not itself a refund request. Review the consequences and any available remedies before deleting. You can request privacy assistance without accepting new Terms.
Permanent and non-expiring describe the absence of an ordinary entitlement timer, not a promise that the app or supporting services will operate forever. If a material change or shutdown affects purchased rights, applicable notice, refund and consumer remedies remain available.
Purchase disputes and preserved remedies
These purchase terms form part of the Terms of Service, including their liability provisions and mandatory individual arbitration/class-proceeding waiver for covered United States disputes. Their stated exceptions and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. The informal arbitration-notice process does not block Google Play refunds, lawful payment disputes, small-claims access, statutory consumer remedies or a privacy request. A good-faith request for a refund or remedy is not abuse merely because the request is declined.
Arbitration choice and purchases
The Terms’ 30-day arbitration opt-out does not remove your purchased entitlements or prevent new purchases, restoration, refunds or account deletion. Linking your onboarding acceptance to a connected account records the same agreement; it does not require a second agreement or revoke an effective arbitration opt-out. The Terms explain the dispute process and its exceptions.
