Request deletion
In Dear Mori, open Settings, then Purchases and account, and use Delete account. Legal/account-management help also provides account access without accepting Terms. If you cannot use the app, email support@ohmymori.com from the account used in Dear Mori with Delete my Dear Mori account in the subject.
The link opens your email app. It prepares a message but does not submit a request until you send it. No purchase, reinstall or Terms acceptance is required. If email does not open, copy the address and send the request using your preferred email service.
What deletion does
Account deletion removes cloud wallet and collection data, account subcollections including Terms acceptance, and the Firebase account. It can prevent future restoration of purchased entitlements. Deletion is not a refund request; contact support or use the applicable Google Play refund route for purchase remedies.
Your separate local journal remains on the device until you erase it. Export it first if you want to keep a copy. Clear Dear Mori’s Android app storage to remove local journal and earned progress, and separately delete exported copies from your chosen storage.
Restricted retained information
Restricted purchase receipts are assigned a 180-day expiry after account deletion for refunds and duplicate-credit prevention. A short-lived deletion marker prevents stale tokens from recreating the account. Expiry processing is asynchronous, so an expiry date is not a guaranteed deletion completion time.
Terms acceptance records are removed with the account. Support and request correspondence is handled separately; clearing app storage does not erase those messages. Contact us for help with a deletion request.
Verification and help
We verify control of the account proportionately and may ask for information needed to locate it. Never send a password, full payment-card details or private journal. We will explain any legally required retention and complete the request within the applicable legal period.
